Beschreibung

This study project will use IBM's Watson technology or related technologies and the robot Pepper to model a real world domain in the big data context.

Important aspects are e.g.:

- Analysis of heterogeneous documents of different modalities (text, tables, pictures, diagrams, etc.)
- Indexing of these documents
- Strategies for computing answers for different types of questions

Domains of interest could be taken from the e-learning field, maintenance of complex technical systems, industrial production processes, patent documents. The results will be integrated into a physical robot.

It is intended to cooperate with IBM in this study project.
